• Your target is yours: Your daily caffeine target is a personal goal you set yourself. CafTrack does not prescribe, recommend, or endorse any level of caffeine consumption.
• AI Strategist: Recommendations are generated by AI from your inputs. They are not reviewed by a medical professional. You use them at your own risk.
• Health data: With your permission we read sleep, heart rate, and workout data from Apple Health or Google Health Connect to personalise recommendations. See our Privacy Policy.
• Subscriptions: CafTrack Pro unlocks scanning (barcode, AI vision, voice), the AI Strategist, full trends, and removes promotional content. Manual logging and the basic dashboard stay free. Payments are handled by Apple or Google. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
• Refunds: Annual plans get a full refund within 7 days and a 50% refund within 30 days. Monthly plans are non-refundable but you can cancel anytime. This is in addition to your statutory 14-day cooling-off right.
• Your account: Keep your login secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Content use: All content belongs to FITN APP LTD. Use is restricted to personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Risks & liability: Use the app at your own risk. FITN APP LTD is not liable for health issues arising from your caffeine consumption, or for indirect damages.
• Termination: You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate rules.
• Privacy: Your data is handled according to the CafTrack Privacy Policy.
• Law & disputes: Governed by England & Wales law unless stronger local consumer protections apply.

Full Terms

1. Account Registration & Obligations

• CafTrack is provided by FITN APP LTD ("we", "us", "our").
• You must be at least 16 years old to use CafTrack. By creating an account you confirm that you are 16 or over. We may suspend or delete accounts we reasonably believe belong to users under 16.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• Only one account per user is permitted unless specified. No bot accounts or automated registration.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorised access.
• We may suspend, investigate, or terminate accounts violating these Terms or engaging in suspicious activity.
• By downloading and using the app you agree to these Terms and the CafTrack Privacy Policy. They are legally binding. Please read both before downloading and using the app.

We license you to download and use the app provided you follow all of the rules in this agreement. The licence is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and for non-commercial use.

2. Health Disclaimer – Caffeine

CafTrack is an information and tracking tool. It is not medical advice.

• Nothing in the app — including caffeine content estimates, your daily target, cutoff times, trends, the Alternatives tab, or AI Strategist recommendations — constitutes medical, nutritional, or health advice.
• Caffeine affects individuals differently. Sensitivity varies with body weight, genetics, tolerance, sleep, medication, and underlying health conditions.
• You must consult a qualified healthcare professional about your caffeine consumption if you:
• are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding;
• have a heart condition, high blood pressure, or arrhythmia;
• have an anxiety disorder, sleep disorder, or other condition affected by stimulants;
• take any medication that may interact with caffeine;
• have any other condition for which caffeine intake may be unsafe.
• Excessive caffeine consumption can cause serious health effects, including in rare cases severe illness. Recognised health bodies (such as the NHS and EFSA) publish guidance on caffeine intake; you are responsible for informing yourself and consuming within levels that are safe for you.
• If you experience palpitations, chest pain, severe anxiety, tremors, or any other concerning symptom, stop consuming caffeine and seek medical advice immediately.

3. Targets, Cutoffs & Responsible Use

• Your daily target is a personal goal you set yourself. CafTrack does not set, prescribe, recommend, or endorse any specific level of caffeine consumption. The target exists so you can plan and track your own intake.
• Reaching or exceeding your target carries no reward, and the app never encourages you to consume more caffeine to "complete" a goal.
• The cutoff time is a soft warning feature you configure yourself. It does not prevent you from consuming caffeine and should not be relied upon to do so.
• Caffeine content figures in the app (from the drinks database, barcode data, or AI estimation) are estimates. Actual caffeine content varies by brand, preparation, and serving size. Do not rely on these estimates where accuracy is critical to your health.
• You are solely responsible for your caffeine consumption decisions. CafTrack records what you choose to consume; it does not control or limit it.
• You must not use CafTrack to facilitate harmful or excessive caffeine consumption, by yourself or others.

4. The AI Strategist

The AI Strategist (a Pro feature) generates caffeine timing and performance recommendations based on your inputs: intake logs, your target, cutoff, and (with your consent) health data such as sleep and heart rate.

4.1 Nature of AI-generated content

• Recommendations are produced by automated AI processing. They are not prescribed, reviewed, or supervised by a doctor, registered dietitian, or qualified health professional.
• AI output may contain errors, omissions, or suggestions unsuitable for your individual circumstances.
• You are solely responsible for assessing whether any AI Strategist recommendation is safe and appropriate for you before acting on it.
• The AI Strategist is calibrated for healthy adults. It is not designed for users with medical conditions affected by caffeine, and any health information you disclose does not convert its output into medical advice.

4.2 Workout gel prompts

• The gel prompt feature sends a notification suggesting caffeine dosing during a detected run or ride. It is a generic, evidence-informed prompt — not an individual sports nutrition prescription.
• Consuming caffeine during exercise carries additional considerations (heart rate elevation, dehydration, gastrointestinal effects). You act on gel prompts entirely at your own risk.
• You can disable gel prompts at any time in the Profile tab.

4.3 Limits of the AI Strategist

• Conversations with the AI Strategist are not a medical consultation, therapy, or any form of health service.
• We are not liable for any health effect, performance outcome, or other harm arising from following, or failing to follow, AI Strategist recommendations.
• If the AI Strategist produces output that appears to encourage unsafe consumption, do not act on it and report it to us at info@caftrackapp.com.

4.4 Confidentiality of AI inputs

• Inputs you provide to the AI Strategist are treated as confidential and stored securely.
• We do not sell, share, or disclose your AI Strategist conversation content to third parties for marketing or any commercial purpose.
• Inputs are processed using third-party AI infrastructure (currently Anthropic) under terms that prevent training of external models on CafTrack data.

5. Health Data Integrations

• With your permission, CafTrack reads data from Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android), including sleep, heart rate, and workout sessions.
• This data is used solely to personalise AI Strategist recommendations and time gel prompts. It is never used for advertising and never shared with advertisers.
• You can revoke access at any time in your device's Health settings. The app remains functional without health data, with reduced personalisation.
• Health data displayed in CafTrack is read from your device and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on it for medical purposes.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

• CafTrack Pro is our paid subscription. It unlocks scanning (barcode, AI vision, voice), the AI Strategist, full trends, and removes promotional content. Manual logging and the basic dashboard remain free.
• Pricing: Pro Monthly £4.99/month or Pro Annual £29.99/year, as shown in the app. A free trial may be offered; its length is shown before you subscribe.
• Payments are handled via Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled through the app store at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Failed payments may result in limited or suspended access until resolved.

6.1 Refunds

In addition to your statutory rights (see Section 11), we offer the following refund policy:

• Annual subscriptions: a full refund if you request it within 7 days of purchase, or a 50% refund if you request it within 30 days of purchase.
• Monthly subscriptions: non-refundable, but you may cancel at any time to stop future renewals. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are processed through the app store used for the original purchase (Apple or Google), as we do not process payments directly.
• This policy is in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory 14-day cooling-off right described in Section 11.

7. Advertising & Promotional Content

• The free tier of CafTrack may display advertising or promotional content, including our own promotional material (such as CafTrack Pro upgrade cards) and, in future, third-party advertisements.
• We do not currently serve third-party advertisements.
• We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or remove advertising at any time. Where third-party advertising is introduced, any associated data processing will be described in our Privacy Policy and, where required, your consent will be sought.
• Your caffeine logs and health data will never be shared with advertisers.
• CafTrack Pro removes promotional content.

8. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

• All content (text, graphics, trademarks, the drinks database, AI-generated recommendations, and app design) belongs to FITN APP LTD or its licensors.
• Content is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, record, or create derivative works.
• Feedback you submit may be used by us to improve the Service without obligation to you.
• External links or third-party content are governed by their own terms.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• use the app if you are under 16, or misrepresent your age;
• engage in illegal, harmful, harassing or offensive activity;
• upload or transmit infringing, disruptive, or malicious content;
• attempt to bypass app security, paywalls, or functionality, reverse engineer the app, or modify its code;
• use the AI Strategist to extract, exfiltrate or replicate our underlying AI models or prompt logic;
• attempt to manipulate the AI Strategist into producing recommendations that encourage unsafe caffeine consumption;
• use the app to encourage or facilitate harmful caffeine consumption by any person;
• misrepresent your identity, age, or health information in a way intended to deceive.

Accounts violating these rules may be suspended or terminated.

10. Liability & Indemnification

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
• We are not liable for any illness, health effect, sleep disruption, or other harm arising from your caffeine consumption, your reliance on caffeine content estimates, or your use of AI Strategist recommendations or gel prompts.
• Our total aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these Terms, or your provision of false age or health information.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Consumer Rights (UK & EU)

• UK and EU consumers have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days (the "cooling-off period").
• For digital content and services that begin immediately, you may be asked to agree that this 14-day right ends once access begins. Where you give that consent, the statutory cooling-off right may no longer apply, but the CafTrack refund policy in Section 6.1 still does.
• The refund policy in Section 6.1 applies in addition to your statutory rights and, in several cases, is more generous than the legal minimum.
• Refunds, where due, are processed through the original app store and payment method.
• Local consumer protections apply where they offer stronger protection than these Terms.

12. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or non-compliance with legal obligations.
• Termination may result in loss of access to subscriptions and content. We will handle your data after termination as set out in the Privacy Policy.

13. Service Limitations

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to updates, maintenance, outages or events beyond our control.
• We are not liable for temporary downtime or interruptions.
• AI features may be temporarily unavailable due to issues with third-party AI providers.
• The drinks database and barcode data rely on third-party sources and may contain inaccuracies.

14. Privacy & Data

• Your data is processed in accordance with the CafTrack Privacy Policy.
• You have rights under UK GDPR to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to withdraw consent. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

• Severability: if any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce any term does not waive our right to do so later.
• Assignment: we may assign or transfer rights under these Terms; you may not do so without our written consent.
• Survival: sections on intellectual property, indemnification, liability, caffeine and AI Strategist disclaimers, and user obligations survive termination.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, except where stronger local consumer protections apply.
• UK and EU consumers may use online dispute resolution platforms.
